It's Patently a Snake-effect Leather Clutch Bag

Mention the words 'clutch bag' and I immediately begin to think of elegant parties, evening dresses, stiletto heels, crystal glasses of champagne and gentlemen in black ties and dinner suits.

In support of this vision, Amira and Cuud bring you this witty little snake-effect flap-over style brown leather clutch. The snake-effect covers the whole of the outside of this leather clutch, and provides a pattern which is pleasing to the eye. There is also a patent leather border on the front edges of the flap, which adds a luxurious and sophisticated gleam to the outside.

This dainty little leather clutch bag is elegant and streamlined in outline.  It is small in size, only 19 cm wide, 10 cm high, and 2 cm deep, so it’s not the bag for someone who wants to carry a large number of items around with them, but for a smart evening out, when all you need to take with you is a little make-up and some money or credit cards, this little leather clutch is just the thing.

The interior of this patent leather clutch bag is lined with elegantly supple black leather. There are three slots for banknotes, nine slots for credit cards or other small items, and an interior zipper pocket. There are also two clear film-covered apertures. You could probably use the square one to display some kind of pass or identity card, and you could use the romantically heart-shaped one to display a photo of someone dear to you. There is also a useful pocket on the back of the patent leather clutch.

So far, I have been talking about this brown leather clutch bag purely in terms of use as an evening bag.  However, you don’t have to only use it on those special formal occasions - it could equally well be used in the day time, provided of course you take note of the limited number of items you can actually fit in it.  Its small size, however, can work to its advantage – it would not look out of place used as a purse inside a larger handbag, which would certainly extend its range of uses, and if you were going from day to evening straight from work, you could pull the dainty little brown leather clutch out, ditch the bigger bag, and hey presto, you’re ready to party. Certainly food for thought there.
